Karachi Operation to continue full throttle, DG Rangers says


KARACHI: DG Rangers Sindh Major General Bilal Akbar revealed a three-pronged technique to dealing with terrorism in Karachi.

He was talking to a ceremony on Saturday where he said that the Karachi Operation versus terrorism will continue.

He said that the operation will continue versus target killers, extortionists, facilitators and investors of terrorism.

He stated that with assistance of provincial and federal governments 3 significant actions will be taken. The very first will be facility of a skill advancement centre.

The centre will help with thousands of students, who will discover employment abilities that will assist them earn a living. “& ldquo; Children who have actually been victims to terrorism will be preferred for admission at the centre,” & rdquo; he said. The 2nd step taken will be a “& ldquo; victim assistance programme & rdquo;, he said.

“& ldquo; We will extend our assistance to victims of terrorism after we collect data of various terrorism-related occurrences,” & rdquo; he said. He said that an assistance group for the victims will be formed.
